The Mslexia Poetry Competition 2020

Who may enter
The competition is open to women of any nationality from any country.

The competition is organised by Mslexia, the magazine for women who write.

Each £10 entry fee allows you to submit up to three poems of any length, in any style, on any subject.

Poems should be in English (or English dialect) and should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere.

This year’s judge is Karen McCarthy Woolf.

Entry fee
£10 for up to three poems

1st prize: £2,000, plus optional mentoring session and a writing retreat at the Cove Park centre
2nd prize: £500
3rd prize: £250
Unpublished Poet Prize: £250
17 additional finalists will win £25 each

All winners and runners up will be published in the March 2021 issue of Mslexia.
