The Caterpillar Poetry Prize 2020

Who may enter
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 16.

The contest is organised by The Caterpillar, a magazine of poems and stories and art for grown-ups.

The prize is for a single unpublished poem written by an adult for children (aged 7–11).

The poem can be on any subject, and there’s no line limit. Entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been published, self-published, published online or broadcast.

Entries must be in English.

The competition will be judged by Roger McGough.

Entry fees
The entry fee is €14 per poem.

A single prize of €1,000 will be awarded to the best poem.
